Dr. Erin Fulkerson is a Licensed Psychologist in both Kentucky and Indiana with Health Service Provider (HSP) designation in both states. She earned both her Master's (M.A.) and Doctorate (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University. Dr. Fulkerson has worked with clients across the lifespan in diverse clinical settings. She has experience in community mental health clinics, university and school systems, medical, and correctional facilities. Dr. Fulkerson completed her doctoral internship at the Butler University Consortium in Indianapolis, Indiana. She then completed a formal post-doctoral fellowship at the Community Psychological Service of the University of Missouri in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Fulkerson has served as faculty at Jefferson Community & Technical College and Spalding University. As a clinician, she has experience and expertise in a variety of intervention modalities including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), and motivational interviewing (MI). Dr. Fulkerson's clinical areas of interest include trauma, interpersonal neurobiology, mindfulness, resilience, and military psychology. She performs clinical and forensic assessment and evaluation services for Shelton Forensic Services.
